Ductwork acts as the arteries of your home’s air circulation system; this maze of interconnected stainless steel tubes brings filtered, conditioned air from your furnace, heat pump, or air conditioner to rooms throughout your house. Most ductwork hides behind drywall, ceilings, and flooring, but some modern designs actually showcase exposed ducting.
Leaks anywhere in the ducting system can compromise the air you breathe with unfiltered air; it can also cause cooled air to escape in the summer and heated air to escape in the winter. Gaps also invite insects and rodents into your home, providing easy passage from the outside in.

Exposed ducting – especially in attics, basements, and crawl spaces can be professionally wrapped. We can also seal hard-to-reach ducting from the inside with sprayed-on adhesives.
Is duct tape an effective form of duct sealing?
Contrary to the name, duct tape isn’t an effective ductwork sealant. While it can be used to perform spot repairs on loose duct wrapping, professional tapes and adhesives do the job much better.
